How do I Contact Lake regional for patient portal help?

Call 573.348.8245 or email patientportal@lakeregional.com. Help is available 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You also have access to a text-only version of the Patient Portal.

How do I log in to the patient portal?

To log in to either the hospital portal or the clinic portal, return to the main Patient Portal page. To begin, click below for step-by-step instructions or choose register. You must have an email address on file at Lake Regional Health System. How do I enroll in the Patient Portal?

How do I get my prescription filled at Lake health?

Sign up for either portal at Lake Health patient registration areas or your doctor’s office. Refilling your prescription is simple with our Quick Refill option for Lake Health’s retail pharmacies at TriPoint and West medical centers. Our patients and their families are our number one priority.

What is the hospital and clinic portal?

This portal provides information about hospital stays, Emergency Department visits, and related lab results and diagnostic imaging. It also maintains clinic visit summaries for dates of service May 1, 2017, through June 14, 2019. To log in to either the hospital portal or the clinic portal, return to the main Patient Portal page.

What is the phone number for LRH?

For patients utilizing emergency room services, you may call (218)736-8305 in advance to give notice of a potential request for auxiliary aid or services appropriate for effective communication.

How often is mail sent to nursing home?

Incoming mail is distributed at least once a day. Letters you want to mail may be given to any member of the nursing staff. Any mail or flowers received after you have been discharged from the hospital will be forwarded to your home.

What is patient education?

Patient education is provided by each department involved in your care. Staff members will use a variety of videos, pamphlets and handouts to help you and your family understand your condition and how to care for yourself upon discharge. A patient resource center is located on the first floor of the hospital where a pre-surgery program is offered to surgical patients to better prepare them and relieve some of their anxiety.

Where is the room extension number?

Your room and bed extension number is located on your telephone. You may want to give this number to family and friends so they can call you directly during visiting hours. If you prefer not to receive any calls, please notify your nurse. To make local calls, dial "9," wait for a dial tone, then dial the number.

What is proxy access?

Proxy access allows a parent, guardian or other designated individual (like a spouse, family member or friend) to use a patient portal to connect to information regarding a family member or friend. If you are a parent who wants to use one or both of our patient portals to view your child’s health information, you will need proxy access. How long does it take for a lab report to be available in the hospital?

Hospital test results will appear in your portal after you’re discharged from the hospital. Clinic lab results are available 36 hours after the results have been finalized. Radiology reports are available 36 hours after the physician has signed the report.

How old do you have to be to enroll in Lake Regional Health?

To enroll, you must be 13 years old or older and have an email address on file at Lake Regional Health System. It is recommended that you use a personal email address that’s unique to you and not being used by another person.

Where does health information come from?

Your health information comes directly from your electronic medical record at the hospital or doctor’s office. If you have questions about results or medical information, please use the messaging function to alert your provider or you may call your provider’s office directly.

Can I print my lab results from the patient portal?

Will I be able to download or print my records from the patient portal? Yes, you will be able to print lab results, reports, known allergies, medical history, medications, immunizations, your Health Summary and your demographic information from the portal.

Two Ways to Create Your MyHealthHome Account

Enrollment Invitation – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center will send a text and / or email to the email address and / or cell phone number you provided upon registration to the hospital. Follow the instructions in that message to create your account.

  • Books and magazines are available from the library cart provided by the LRH Auxiliary on Mondays and Thursdays. For reading material on other days, please ask your nurse. Before you leave the hospital, please leave any of these materials in your room or in the special container at the nurses' station on your unit.
